On Friday, Scott finished his class. There was a short ceremony, and then he immediately took a test to certify for ABYC (American Boat & Yacht Council)standards. These standards are used often when surveying.
It was a beautiful day, so after the test, Scott and his friend, John took a dingy ride in the afternoon. John is from New Hampshire. He and Scott got along well during class, and became friends over the weeks. The two took a four hour dingy ride on Saturday, circumnavigating the inlet area.
Scott came through his class with flying colors. He learned a lot of new information, and met some interesting people along the way. However, I'm sure he's also glad for it to be over, as it was a LOT of information to take in, in a small amount of time. As of now, Coastal Marine Services LLC is officially up and running!
